Bacon Wrapped Shrimp on the Smoker
Perfection is the best way to describe these Bacon Wrapped Shrimp on the smoker and a delicious Dipping Sauce. To save time, you can wrap the shrimp the day before.

Bacon Wrapped Shrimp with a delicious Dipping Sauce
Shrimp! Bacon!! Delicious Dipping Sauce! What's not to love!!
Ingredients
Dipping Sauce
- Ketchup
- Mayonnaise
- Pinch of BBQ rub
- Dash of hot sauce (optional)
Shrimp and bacon
- Wooden toothpicks
- Large shrimp, raw, deveined and shelled
- Bacon, thinly sliced and cut in half
- Seasonings of choice
Instructions
Making the Dipping Sauce
- Use equal parts ketchup and mayonnaise.
- Add all ingredients to a mixing bowl and stir to combine.
- Taste to adjust seasonings.
Assembling the Shrimp
- Soak toothpicks in water for several hours. This will help them not to catch fire.
- Season shrimp (optional)
- Wrap a half piece of bacon around a shrimp.
- Secure with a wet toothpick.
- Preheat smoker, grill, Air Fryer or oven to 350-375.
- Place shrimp on the grill grates or a baking sheet if making in the oven.
- Remove and flip shrimp every 10 minutes until the bacon is done.
- Serve with Dipping Sauce
Notes
Soaking the toothpicks will help them not catch on fire. The sauce and wrapping the shrimp can be done the day before to save time. If making a head, wait until right before you cook them to secure with a toothpick. They heat up very well in the Air Fryer.
