No Mayonnaise Cole Slaw

Ingredients

Dressing (make first)
  • 1 c mayonnaise
  • ¼ c apple cider vinegar
  • 6 T oil
  • 1/4 - 1/2 c sugar
  • ½ t celery seeds
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Slaw Ingredients
  • 1 head of cabbage, chopped or 1 bag Cole slaw mix
  • Veggies of your choice, chopped

Instructions

Making the Dressing
  1. Add all ingredients into a bowl and whisk until smooth.
Making The Slaw
  1. In a large mixing bowl add chopped cabbage and any chopped veggies you like.
  2. Pour dressing over the top and stir until combined.
  3. Store in the fridge.

Notes

For a day on the boat or a picnic, add slaw to a plastic zip top bag and store in the ice chest with ice or a freezer block.
