No Mayonnaise Cole Slaw
Sometimes, our summer meals can be heavy and this Cole Slaw recipe is the perfect accompaniment to lighten up the taste buds and it also adds a little “zing”!!

No Mayonnaise Cole Slaw
Bright and tangy best describes this slaw recipe. Perfect for your next cookout!
Ingredients
Dressing (make first)
- 1 c mayonnaise
- ¼ c apple cider vinegar
- 6 T oil
- 1/4 - 1/2 c sugar
- ½ t celery seeds
- Salt and pepper to taste
Slaw Ingredients
- 1 head of cabbage, chopped or 1 bag Cole slaw mix
- Veggies of your choice, chopped
Instructions
Making the Dressing
- Add all ingredients into a bowl and whisk until smooth.
Making The Slaw
- In a large mixing bowl add chopped cabbage and any chopped veggies you like.
- Pour dressing over the top and stir until combined.
- Store in the fridge.
Notes
For a day on the boat or a picnic, add slaw to a plastic zip top bag and store in the ice chest with ice or a freezer block.
